Paul is the 3000th name in the Bible, which relates to the year 3000AD. In Revelation 20:1-3, Satan (Pauline theology) is bound for a thousand years; approximately 2000-3000AD. Revelation 20:3 says, "after that [Satan] must be let loose for a little while." This relates to the order in which people are resurrected (see "Life After Death" for further details). People who have followed Paul will be resurrected on or after 3000AD. This corresponds to the idea that God separates people into two groups, those who have followed Paul and those who have not. Those who follow Paul know what Jesus wants us to do, but they choose not to do it. As a result of their activities, they exclude everyone else from finding the true religion. In other words, those who follow Paul sin against those who don't by making it much more difficult to know how to follow Jesus. However, those who follow Paul in turn are sinned against by Paul. For this reason, followers of Paul actually get what they believe in – direct transportation to heaven a thousand years in the future. This delay in their entry to the New Age means that their false beliefs will have no impact on the members of society who follow Jesus. The infrastructure of the New Age will be built by those who Jesus came to teach about; the sin bearers of our society. This fulfills the following verses:

Matthew 25:37-40
The righteous will then answer him, 'When, Lord, did we ever see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you a drink? When did we ever see you a stranger and welcome you in our homes, or naked and clothe you? When did we ever see you sick or in prison, and visit you?' The King will reply, 'I tell you, whenever you did this for one of the least important of these members of my family, you did it for me!'

Tradition has it that God is responsible for heaven, yet it is sin-bearers who will build it. Therefore, sin-bearers will be like gods (Jesus) to those who will enter the New Age after 3000AD.

There are about 150 names after Paul, which appear to have no parable-related significance. Therefore there is nothing stopping us from removing the letters of the apostles from the Bible. The list below shows the names of people in the Bible from the 2665th to the 3000th name, using the rules specified here. The following points were taken into account when compiling this list:

4. Paul is considered to be a renaming of Saul because he stops using the name Saul and starts using the name Paul. Therefore Paul is included in the list.

5. Zorobabel and Salathiel are in both Matthew and Luke's ancestry lists and are not counted twice.

6. No names of gods are included in the list. The angel Gabriel (Dan8:16) is not included but the 'prince' Michael (Dan10:13) is included. Titles of Jesus are included (e.g. Christ) but where he is referred to as God his titles are not included (e.g. Lord). Rabboni (John20:16) and Rabbi (John1:38) are not included as titles or names – they were not official titles of Jesus. I have not included any reference to Jesus as the Son (Son of God, Son of Man and Son of David); they are not names but their status as titles is arguable.

7. The Pharaoh referred to by Ezekiel (Eze17:17) is probably Pharaohnechoh who has already been listed (2Ki23:29 and 2Ki23:35).

8. Pharaohhophra (Jer44:30) is probably the Pharaoh listed in 2Ki18:21. Therefore, further references to the title 'Pharaoh' by Jeremiah are not included in the list.

9. Amminadib (SSol6:12) is unique to the KJV version of the Bible, and has not been included.

10. Huzzab (Nahum2:7) is either the queen of Nineveh or a place. It has not been included in the list.

11. Zephaniah (Zec6:10) is probably the same as the person of the same name in Zec6:14. They have different sons (Josiah and Hen respectively) but Zephaniah is only listed once.

12. There are three Caesars; three titles and three names are included in the list:

13. Hammelech (Jer36:26) and Jareb (Hos5:13) mean 'king'. They not included in the RV Bible, and sources disagree on whether Hammelech should be treated as a proper name. This introduces flexibility into the list. Hammelech has been included, but Jareb has been excluded from the list.

14. In Ecclesiastes 1:1, Ecclesiastes states that he is 'the Preacher'. In Hebrew, this is 'Koheleth', which could be considered to be a title. However, it has been excluded from the list.

15. The RV Bible excludes the following names. Melzar means 'guard', but has been included in the list as a title.

18. Gomer (Eze38:6) is thought to be a group of people descended from Gomer (Ge10:2). Similarly, Togarmah (Eze38:6) is a group of people descended from Togarmah (Ge10:3). Their names are not repeated in the list.

19. Ammi (Hos2:1) is a name given to the people of Israel, with the opposite meaning to Loammi (the name of Hosea's son). Similarly, Ruhamah (Hos2:1) is a name given to the people of Israel with the opposite meaning to Loruhamah, daughter of Hosea. Ammi and Ruhamah are not included in the list.

20. The House of Aphrah (Mic1:10) is a place also known as Bethelaphrah, and is not included in the list.

21. The House of Achzib (Mic1:14) is a place and is not included in the list.

22. Eli (Mat27:46) means 'my God' and is not included in the list.

23. Mary (John19:25), wife of Cleophas, is probably the same as the mother of James and Joses (Mat27:56) and is not included twice in the list.

24. Cleophas (John19:25) is listed separately from Cleopas (Luke24:18).

25. Jesurun/Jeshurun (Isa44:2) is a poetic name for Israel and is not listed as a name.

26. The following verses are thought to refer to the same individuals:
    • Iddo: Ezra5:1 and Zec1:1; Iddo is thought to be an ancestor of Zechariah.
      
    • Jeremiah: 2Chr35:25 and Jer1:1.
      
    • Micah: Jer26:18 and Mic1:1.
      
    • Neriah son of Maaseiah: Jer32:12 and Jer51:59.
      
    • Nethaniah: 2Ki25:23-25 and Jer40:8.
