Who is Jesus? Who is Paul?
Previous | Home | Next

Jesus and Peter seem to have a special relationship. Peter is Jesus' chief disciple who is called his "rock" and Jesus assures him that he will build his church on that rock. Yet Peter is repeatedly shown to deny Jesus and there are letters in his name that support Paul's teaching.

This article attempts to answer the question of who Jesus is and where he came from. Jesus says:

    John 3:13
And no one has ever gone up to heaven except the Son of Man, who came down from heaven.

Heaven is the future, but this does not mean that Jesus has come from the future. I believe that it means that Jesus has come from a Universe like our own that is in a much later stage of development. This idea is supported by verse 11 of the Gospel of Thomas, "This heaven will pass away, and the one above it will pass away."

When eating the Passover meal with his disciples, he says this:

    Matthew 26:23
Jesus answered, "One who dips his bread in the dish with me will betray me. The Son of Man will die as the Scriptures say he will, but how terrible for that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would have been better for that man if he had never been born!"

Who denies Jesus? There are two chief suspects – Peter and Paul. Paul creates a theology independently of Jesus – he cannot be said to betray Jesus because he never followed him in the first place. However, Peter is constantly labeled as the person who denies Jesus. He changes from a follower of Jesus to a follower of Paul. The passages that identify Peter's denial of Jesus are outlined below.

Jesus Predicts Peter's Denial (Matthew 26)

31 Then Jesus said to them, "This very night all of you will run away and leave me, for the scripture says, 'God will kill the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.' But after I am raised to life, I will go to Galilee ahead of you." Peter spoke up and said to Jesus, "I will never leave you, even though all the rest do!"
34 Jesus said to Peter, "I tell you that before the cock crows tonight, you will say three times that you do not know me."
35 Peter answered, "I will never say that, even if I have to die with you!"
And all the other disciples said the same thing.

Jesus Prays in Gethsemane (Matthew 26)

36 Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, "Sit here while I go over there and pray." 37 He took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee. Grief and anguish came over him, 38 and he said to them, "The sorrow in my heart is so great that it almost crushes me. Stay here and keep watch with me."
39 He went a little farther on, threw himself face on the ground, and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, take this cup of suffering from me! Yet not what I want, but what you want."
40 Then he returned to the three disciples and found them asleep; and he said to Peter, "How is it that you three were not able to keep watch with me even for one hour? 41 Keep watch and pray that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."
42 Once more Jesus went away and prayed, "My Father, if this cup of suffering cannot be taken away unless I drink it, your will be done." 43 He returned once more and found the disciples asleep; they could not keep their eyes open.
44 Again Jesus left them, went away, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. 45 Then he returned to the disciples and said, "Are you still sleeping and resting? Look! The hour has come for the Son of Man to be handed over to the power of sinners. 46 Get up, let us go. Look, here is the man who is betraying me!" [Peter fell asleep three times; the other two disciples (James and John) also represent Peter and myself as discussed below, and there are three disciples in total]

Peter Denies Jesus (Matthew 26)

69 Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard when one of the High Priest's servant women came to him and said, "You, too, were with Jesus of Galilee."
70 But he denied it in front of them all. "I don't know what you are talking about," he answered, 71 and went on out to the entrance of the courtyard. Another servant woman saw him and said to the men there, "He was with Jesus of Nazareth."
72 Again Peter denied it and answered, "I swear that I don't know that man!"
73 After a little while the men standing there came to Peter. "Of course you are one of them," they said. "After all, the way you speak gives you away!"
74 Then Peter said, "I swear that I am telling the truth! May God punish me if I am not! I do not know that man!"
Just then a cock crowed, 75 and Peter remembered what Jesus had told him: "Before the cock crows, you will say three times that you do not know me." He went out and wept bitterly. [Peter denied knowing Jesus three times].

Acts 10:9-15

9 The next day, as they were on their way and coming near Joppa, Peter went up on the roof of the house about noon in order to pray. 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat; while the food was being prepared, he had a vision. 11 He saw heaven opened and something coming down that looked like a large sheet being lowered by its four corners to the earth. 12 In it were all kinds of animals, reptiles, and wild birds. 13 A voice said to him, "Get up, Peter; kill and eat!"
14 But Peter said, "Certainly not, Lord! I have never eaten anything ritually unclean or defiled."
15 The voice spoke to him again, "Do not consider anything unclean that God has declared clean." 16 This happened three times, and then the thing was taken back up into heaven. [Peter was warned three times in a vision about "unclean food"]

A short while later, the apostles wrote this letter:

Acts 15:22-29: The Letter to the Gentile Believers

22 Then the apostles and the elders, together with the whole church, decided to choose some men from the group and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They chose two men who were highly respected by the believers, Judas, called Barsabbas, and Silas, 23 and they sent the following letter by them:
"We, the apostles and the elders, your brothers, send greetings to all our brothers of Gentile birth who live in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia. 24 We have heard that some who went from our group have troubled and upset you by what they said; they had not, however, received any instruction from us. 25 And so we have met together and have all agreed to choose some messengers and send them to you. They will go with our dear friends Barnabas and Paul, 26 who have risked their lives in the service of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 We send you, then, Judas and Silas, who will tell you in person the same things we are writing. 28 The Holy Spirit and we have agreed not to put any other burden on you besides these necessary rules: 29 eat no food that has been offered to idols; eat no blood; eat no animal that has been strangled; and keep yourselves from sexual immorality. You will do well if you take care not to do these things. With our best wishes."

The apostles wrote a letter with three arbitrary laws regarding food, essentially a denial of Jesus three times, since Jesus has the following to say about food:

    Matthew 15:11
"It is not what goes into a person's mouth that makes him ritually unclean; rather, what comes out of it makes him unclean."

Despite this quote, I believe that loving your neighbour as yourself when applied to animals implies dietary restrictions. I also believe that buying foods such as chocolate that involve child labour is wrong. In other words, I believe that the two commandments of Jesus are more important than any other arguments that are applied to eating food.

Peter's letters also contain teaching that denies Jesus. It is possible that Peter himself did not write them; many people believe that they were written after he died. The author of the letters was a follower of Paul. In particular, they directly support Paul's teachings:

  1. 2 Peter 3:16: "This is what [Paul] says in all his letters when he writes on the subject. There are some difficult things in his letters which ignorant and unstable people explain falsely, as they do with other passages of the Scriptures. So they bring on their own destruction." Our destruction has been brought on by those letters being there in the first place.

  2. The author describes himself as a "Church Elder" in 1 Peter 5:1. Peter was not anything like a Church Elder while he was following Jesus as a disciple. It suggests a change in the way he practiced Christianity after Jesus died.

  3. The letters advocate slavery. There is a difference between "turning the other cheek" (Jesus) and quotes like these:

    • 1 Peter 2:18-19: "You servants must submit to your masters and show them complete respect, not only to those who are kind and considerate, but also to those who are harsh. God will bless you for this, if you endure the pain of undeserved suffering."

    • 1 Peter 3:1: "In the same way you wives must submit to your husbands." 1 Peter 3:6: "Sarah was like that; she obeyed Abraham and called him his master."

The truth is supposed to set you free, but quotes like this are in direct opposition to freedom.

It is not clear what the significance of the number 'three' in Peter's denials is a parable for. Peter was not the only apostle involved in writing the letter to the Gentiles, and the vision he received (a Satanic form of communication) may be a red herring. In addition, he is probably not the author of the letters written in his name and there are only two letters, not three. The three denials may refer to something not recorded in the Bible, to future events and/or possibly to my own activities as Mary Magdalene (see "About the Author"). There is a sense in which Peter has been 'sent to hell' (resurrected into our modern society). Therefore, he must have chosen to follow an ideology other than that of Jesus.

Jesus uses the term 'sleeping' as a parable for death (see Luke 8:52). It is possible that Peter falling asleep three times could refer to three deaths that happen while not following Jesus. These three deaths are suggested in "Parables and General Issues"; he was first killed by crucifixion upside down and is also predicted to die in the first and second plagues.

Peter becomes Jesus

I believe that it has been arranged for Peter to take on the role of Jesus in the future. This tallies with the idea that the king set up the Golden Image in the book of Daniel (see the letter on "The Time of the End") – in other words, Jesus himself (the king) as Peter helped to set up the modern church system. It also corresponds to the idea that Jesus builds his church on Peter:

    Matthew 16:18
And so I tell you, Peter: you are a rock, and on this rock foundation I will build my church, and not even death will ever be able to overcome it.

Peter is living in our time and is reborn through the events that are described on this website. I do not believe that Peter becomes the Jesus in our Universe, but in another 'daughter' Universe – in other words, I believe that he does the same job as Jesus did, but for a different set of people. This would fulfill the commandment, "love your neighbour as yourself"; Jesus did this for us, so Peter can do the same thing for others. This idea is supported by the letter about "Adam and Eve". Further evidence in support of these ideas is as follows:

  • Peter is the son of John (John 1:42). This parallels the parent/child relationship between myself (represented by John) and Peter. In some versions of the Bible, the father of Simon is called Joses instead of John.

  • After being baptised by John the Baptist, Jesus spends forty days in the desert. This parallels the forty days of Noah as described in "The Time of the End", which occurs after the 'baptism' of Peter in the modern era (baptism is a parable for death). John the Baptist represents me, and the baptisms that he carries out represent deaths in the plagues; Peter is predicted to die in the first plague.

  • A man called Simon is forced to carry Jesus' cross when Jesus is taken to be crucified (Matthew 27:32).

  • John 21:18-19: "I am telling you the truth: when you were young, you used to get ready and go anywhere you wanted to; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands and someone else will bind you and take you where you don't want to go." (In saying this, Jesus was indicating the way in which Peter would die and bring glory to God.) Then Jesus said to him, "Follow me!"

The "young" Peter is in heaven, but the "old" Peter is encouraged by Jesus to take on the same role that he himself did. His future sacrificial death will "bring glory to God". This quote is attributed to the resurrected form of Jesus. I do not believe that the resurrected form is really Jesus (see "Parables and General Issues") so this quote is less reliable than the others.

  • An artistic depiction of Mary cradling the dead body of Jesus is called a 'pieta', which sounds like 'Peter'.

  • The Transfiguration

      Luke 9:28-36
About a week after he had said these things, Jesus took Peter, John, and James with him and went up a hill to pray. While he was praying, his face changed its appearance, and his clothes became dazzling white. 30 Suddenly two men were there talking with him. They were Moses and Elijah, 31 who appeared in heavenly glory and talked with Jesus about the way in which he would soon fulfill God's purpose by dying in Jerusalem. 32 Peter and his companions were sound asleep, but they woke up and saw Jesus' glory and the two men who were standing with him. 33 As the men were leaving Jesus, Peter said to him, "Master, how good it is that we are here! We will make three tents, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah." (He did not really know what he was saying.)
34 While he was still speaking, a cloud appeared and covered them with its shadow; and the disciples were afraid as the cloud came over them. 35 A voice said from the cloud, "This is my Son, whom I have chosen – listen to him!" When the voice stopped, there was Jesus all alone. The disciples kept quiet about all this, and told no one at that time anything they had seen.

The people present at the transfiguration. The image is divided into two groups of three people to show the links between them; Jesus, Elijah and Moses and Peter, John and James

James and John were brothers. The name John is associated with myself, as is the role of Elijah. Peter is my spiritual brother (also represented by James) who takes on the role of Jesus.

Jesus talks about Moses in John 5:45-47, "Do not think, however, that I am the one who will accuse you to my Father. Moses, in whom you have put your hope, is the very one who will accuse you. 46 If you had really believed Moses, you would have believed me, because he wrote about me. 47 But since you do not believe what he wrote, how can you believe what I say?"

The transfiguration parable suggests that Jesus is talking about Peter in this quote about Moses, although he could also be referring to this website. In John 5:36, Jesus says, "I have a witness on my behalf which is even greater than the witness that John gave: what I do, that is, the deeds my Father gave me to do, these speak on my behalf and show that the Father has sent me." He is probably talking about Peter. Peter's testimony might come when he gets his memories of Jesus back, or perhaps he performs miracles in the name of Jesus. The quote could also refer to Peter taking on the role of Jesus to give a similar testimony to that which Jesus gave. All of these would represent a greater testimony than this website (represented by 'John' in the quote).

In Mark 1:44, Jesus healed a man and told him that he should offer the sacrifice that Moses ordered. He did not mean that the man should sacrifice an animal – he was using a parable to tell the man to follow him.

Peter is described as being sound asleep (a parable for death) during the transfiguration. When he wakes up, he sees Jesus talking to Elijah. This represents the Holy Spirit talking to me through parables. Therefore, his sleeping represents the last 2000 years when he was dead.

  • Jesus' family

The family tree of Jesus. There is a large box that is labelled 'Jesus'. Inside this box is another one containing the names of his four brothers to show that Jesus and the names of his brothers are linked. His brothers are Simon, James, Judas and Joseph. Simon links to Simon Peter, James links to the brother of John, Judas represents the betrayal of Jesus and Joseph led the Egyptians and represents Jesus in a scriptural parable in Genesis. There is an arrow between the brother of Jesus called Joseph and Jesus' father Joseph which is labelled 'becomes the father' to show what happens to Simon Peter. Jesus's parents Mary and Joseph are labelled Mary Magdalene and Jesus/the Father

Jesus' brothers (Matthew 13:55) all represent Peter and his roles and relationships: Simon (Peter) is my spiritual brother (he is also represented by James who was the brother of the disciple John, who represents myself). He betrayed Jesus (represented by Judas) but later takes on the role of Jesus (represented by Joseph). Joseph is also the father of Jesus. In other words, Peter also takes on the role of the Father in the creation of a new Universe.

There is further evidence for the idea that Jesus is the Father:

    • Jesus says that he is in the Father and the Father is in him. (John 14:11).

    • John 8:58 quotes Jesus referring to himself as "I Am" – the same name that the Old Testament god uses in Exodus 3:14.

    • The article on "Joseph" describes how the Old Testament Joseph is used to represent Jesus. Joseph's father was Jacob. According to Matthew 1:16, Jesus' grandfather was also called Jacob, and his father was called Joseph. Hence one Joseph son of Jacob is used to represent Jesus, and another Joseph son of Jacob is the father of Jesus; this indicates that Jesus and the Father are the same.

  • Luke 6:12-16 lists the names of the twelve disciples. There are three pairs who share the same name:

    • 2x Simon (representing Peter and Jesus).

    • 2x James (James is the brother of John; John represents me; Peter is my spiritual brother, therefore James represents Peter).

    • 2x Judas (representing betrayal).

These sets of pairs represent Jesus having led a similar life to Peter. In other words, there are two Peters (or two Jesuses) in the group. Additional evidence is as follows:

    • One Judas [Peter] is the son of James [Jesus].

    • The other Judas [Peter] is the son of Simon [Jesus] (John 13:2).

    • One James [Peter] is the son of Alphaeus [Jesus].

All of these represent Peter as the spiritual son of Jesus, or the Son of God. The names James, Judas, Simon and Joseph can be used interchangeably to represent both Peter and Jesus. Alphaeus also represents Jesus, since Revelation 1:8 says that Jesus is the alpha and the omega.

  • In Matthew 12:48-50, Jesus says, "Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?" 49 Then he pointed to his disciples and said, "Look! Here are my mother and my brothers! 50 Whoever does what my Father in heaven wants him to do is my brother, my sister, and my mother." I assume that Mary Magdalene and Peter were among the group. Mary is Peter's spiritual mother, sister and brother. She is probably his real mother in the New Age.

Who is Paul?

Paul's letters are so perfectly evil that it is difficult to imagine that an ordinary person could have written them. What is the function of the letters of Paul? I believe that they are there to make sure that most false teachings are all in one place so that they can be identified and discarded more easily. Somehow, Paul's letters help to create heaven by showing how easy it is to teach falsely and believe false ideas; it means that when heaven comes, people will defend their freedom against false ideas much more fiercely, making it a stable and eternal society. It also means that the blame for not following Jesus can be attributed to Paul; in other words, he takes the blame for something that would have happened anyway through the actions of other people. This means that everyone can participate in the New Age without feeling that they were solely responsible for the 2000 year delay in its inception.

I believe that Paul's role is my own future role for a daughter Universe. Paradoxically, such an evil role could be an instance of loving your neighbour as yourself, but only when your neighbour is a group of people to whom you are trying to teach the nature of evil. The role of Satan can only be performed by someone who is a follower of Jesus – someone who is genuinely evil could not be trusted in the role. The evidence for this argument includes the following:

  • The story of creation says that both Adam and Eve (Jesus and Paul – through their opposed teachings) and their children (followers of Jesus and followers of Paul) will hate each other. Adam and Eve represent Peter and I.

  • There is a picture of the whore of Babylon on Canada; North Americans are the most devout followers of Paul and the whore is associated with myself as described here. In other words, the picture represents both Paul and myself.

  • Paul is thought to have been beheaded, which is also the fate of John the Baptist whose role is a parable for my own.

  • The 616th name in the Bible is Michal. She represents myself, the nominally female half of the Archangel Michael. Michal is the daughter of Saul (the real name of Paul), and is married to David, who represents Jesus.

  • There is an unusual parallel between the words Mary and Paul, and Peter and Jesus. The letters have been converted into numbers (using A=1, B=2 etc.) and the difference between the corresponding numbers has been found.

Mary and Paul yield the digits 0, 1 and 3, whereas Peter and Jesus yield 0, 1 and 6. The first three triangular numbers are 1, 3 and 6. A triangle suggests the Trinity, and all four names are associated with it. Equilateral triangles (which are inferred from the triangular numbers) have three internal angles of 60 degrees, which resembles 666 (spiritual wisdom). The 36th (6 x 6) triangular number is 666, and the 666th triangular number is 222111.

The circular nature of our Universe is such that since I have proven Pauline theology to be false, then I could take on the role of Paul in the future without being hypocritical, and I would be less guilty of sin than if anyone else were to do it.
